Business Van Insurance
Cover for drivers who use their van in a business capacity. This type of insurance is also known as “Commercial Van Insurance”. Even commuting to work requires this type of insurance. This type of insurance has three categories:
Carriage of own goods
Also known as “Carriage of Own Tools Cover” – pretty self explanatory, protects all items inside your van which includes personal belongings and work equipment. The perfect cover for self-employed tradespeople that use their van for work.
Haulage Cover
Delivery of large loads over long distances to just one destination per job? This is the cover for you.
Carriage of Goods for Hire or Reward
Also known as “Courier Van Insurance” – Cover for other peoples goods or property to multiple destinations.
Private Van Insurance
Also known as “Social, Domestic and Pleasure” or “Social Use Only”. Like the name, it’s for personal use (private) which could be anything like: Going to the shops, visiting friends and family. Cover that’s legal. Commuting is not covered in this Type of Van Insurance.
Pickup Van Insurance
Pickups are typically open backed and treated differently to standard Vans. The type of this insurance could be either Business or Private. All depending on the type of cover you need.
